Ethical Will (Reprinted from Fall
2009 Newsletter) In Medieval times, hundreds
of years ago, people had very little material goods to pass down to heirs.
It was the responsibility of the elders of the community and patriarchs of the
family to pass their culture, values, and the way they lived on to future
generations. This was done by word of mouth and by written document.
With time, this became known as an "Ethical Will." I have, over the years,
put some thoughts, meaningful to me, and "ethical will," together.
