Bread Raiser

Food for the Hungry, Inc. is entering its seventh year of serving the needy in Southeastern Wisconsin and also its seventh year of partnering with Kathy's House.  Their faithful volunteers gather surplus bakery from various providers in the area and distribute it to meal programs, food pantries, and social service programs, including Kathy's House. They do this without compensation. With the growth of the program and rising prices of gasoline, they need some assistance in covering their expenses in order to continue their important work. Please consider attending their "Bread Raiser" on August 10th to support a friend of Kathy's House.

Kathy's House will again be holding a garage sale this year on Thursday-Saturday, August 14-16, from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Donations of gently used items (excluding clothing) are currently being accepted. Please call Kathy's House at 414-453-8290 if you are interested in dropping off items or volunteering before, during, or after the sale.
